My first photography trip with Canon 100-400 was to my favourite birding spot in Bangalore, Valley school. A pair of Pied Wagtails were bathing in the parking lot. Stopped the car, got out and fired this shot. I am impressed with the lens.

The thought of visiting the Black buck (Antilope cervicapra) reserve in Maidenahalli was lingering in my mind for nearly a year. Shreeram floated the idea and a Sunday (21 June ‘09) was well spent.

I have really been sweating this summer, more so at work. Still, I did manage to attend NTP on the last weekend of March. Three weeks later, made a trip to a village near Hassan for a wedding. Wedding trip turned out to be a great one, for birding and visiting historical monuments.
